What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-10 near DeZavala Rd in San Antonio, TX on July 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. A Dodge passenger vehicle reportedly performed an unsafe lane change and lost control, crashing into water barrels. A Nissan passenger vehicle traveling behind the vehicle collided with the Dodge, causing both to overturn. The Nissan driver, identified as 51-year-old Manuel Guel Galindo, was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported to an area hospital and died from his injuries. Two passengers were also hospitalized with minor injuries.
