Authorities in Gonzales County, TX, are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that occurred on November 16, 2024, at approximately 8:38 p.m. on U.S. Highway 183. A Nissan Murano was traveling north when it crossed into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado. The crash resulted in fatal injuries to the 27-year-old driver of the Nissan, Marcos Alvarado, who was pronounced dead at 10:12 p.m. The 33-year-old Robstown driver of the Silverado sustained suspected serious injuries.
