What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at Dickinson Rd in Alvin, TX on September 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:21 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Challenger operated by 54-year-old Anne Taylor was headed westbound on Dickinson Rd before crossing over a lane divider and colliding with an eastbound Buick Encore operated by 73-year-old Margaret Ross. Ross suffered serious injures in the crash and was taken to an area hospital. She later died and investigators say the cause of death remains under investigation. Taylor suffered minor injuries and was arrested on an Intoxication Assault charge.
