What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that injured a person at US 67 in Tom Green County, TX on July 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:48 a.m. A Dodge Dakota operated by 82-year-old Marion Fred Green was headed northbound on US 67 when it veered out of its lane and collided with a John Deere tractor traveling partially in a right travel lane. The Dodge then overturned, causing Green serious injuries. The other driver was not injured. Police issued Green a Failure to Control Speed charge.
