Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-35 in Round Rock, TX on April 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:46 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Corolla operated by 48-year-old Marisela Ochoa was headed northbound at the time of the collision. Police say the vehicle collided with a crash cushion under unclear circumstances. The vehicle struck the back rear of a GMC Acadia and the impact caused the Toyota to strike a Toyota Camry operated by 19-year-old James Kair. Police say Ochoa suffered fatal injuries in the collision while Kair had injuries believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the GMC was not injured. according to police.
