Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at Melody Ln in Dallas, TX on June 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Civic was attempting a left turn onto Hemlock Ave before colliding with a northwest bound Hyundai Sonata. The impact is said to have caused the Honda to veer into a utility pole on a nearby sidewalk, as well as a pedestrian there. Following the collision, reports say the Hyundai fled the scene without stopping to render aid. The pedestrian, identified as 62-year-old Mark Irby, was fatally injured.
