What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a two-vehicle collision that injured a driver at Little York Rd in Harris County, TX on March 22nd, 2022. Officials say it happened around 1:10 a.m. Investigators say a Volkswagen Tiguan operated by 25-year-old Markanthony Moreno was headed westbound on Little York Rd as it approached a disabled Chevrolet Tahoe in the same lane. The Tiguan reportedly was attempting to change lanes when it collided with the rear of the Tahoe, causing serious injuries to Moreno. Police say the driver of the Tahoe, Lou Flores, fled the scene before later being located and arrested on a charge of Failure to Stop and Render Aid.
