What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-20 in Arlington, TX on December 30th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:02 a.m. A Hyundai Venue operated by 23-year-old Marquise Lauderdale was headed eastbound when it lost control. Investigators believe the vehicle attempted to correct back onto to roadway and swung right before crashing into a concrete wall. Lauderdale suffered serious injuries in the crash and records indicate a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued.
