What Happened

Officials are investigating a crash that injured both drivers involved at FM 1101 in New Braunfels, TX, on November 15th, 2024. Police are saying the incident happened around 10:45 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-450 headed southeast is alleged to have run a traffic light before colliding with a southwest-bound Nissan Armada. Officials say the Nissan operator, identified as 37-year-old Marta Rodriguez, was seriously injured. The other driver, age 28 and not publicly identified, was also allegedly seriously injured. Authorities say an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver of the Ford. Additional information was not available.
