Authorities in Hunt County, TX, are investigating a collision that occurred on January 4, 2025, at approximately 6:09 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 380 and State Spur 1570. A Nissan Kicks was traveling north when it failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and collided with a Nissan Sentra traveling east. The crash resulted in suspected serious injuries to three occupants of the Sentra, including 29-year-old driver, Matthew Banda, a 24-year-old  passenger, Sandra Myers and a 5-year-old child.
