What Happened

Houston Police are investigating an incident that killed a man at Federal Rd in Houston, TX on October 29th, 2021. They say it happened around 4:05 a.m. A train conductor identified as 19-year-old Matthew Marcum was reportedly standing at the rear of a train as an 18-wheeler was crossing the tracks. Police say the train was reversing and the Marcum was guiding it out of the railyard, however that he may have been pinned between the truck and the train during the action. He suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
