Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 287 in Donley County, TX on September 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:11 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by a 27-year-old Los Lunas, NM man is said to have failed to control its speed, colliding with a Volkswagen ahead that was slowing for traffic. The Volkswagen driver, 18-year-old Max Flores, suffered minor injuries. The Los Lumas man was not injured and cited for Failure to Control Speed.
