What Happened

Pasadena Police are investigating a hit-and-run that killed a woman at Preston Ave in Pasadena, TX on July 30th, 2021. Police say Melinda Ramirez was riding a bicycle in the 800 block of Preston Ave when she was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle never stopped, according to surveillance footage, and fled the scene. Ramirez was hospitalized with injuries that she later died from. Police say that the footage showed a driver and passenger in a white, four-door SUV that has not yet been found.
