What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at FM 1283 in Bandera County, TX on November 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:36 p.m. Investigators state that a Ford F-250 operate day 70-year-old Isidoro Aguilar Jr was headed northbound on FM 1283 when it took an evasive action to avoid a collision and veered into a southbound lane. The vehicle collided with a commercial truck before hitting a Nissan Rogue operated by 44-year-old Melissa Sue Marsden. Marsden had serious injuries while Aguilar had less serious injuries and was cited for Failure to Control Speed.
