Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 281 in Brownsville, TX on June 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 10:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 was eastbound before allegedly veering left and colliding with a westbound Nissan Frontier. Reports indicate the Nissan operator, identified as 54-year-old Sergio Villanueva, was seriously injured. The other driver, identified as 48-year-old Sergio Villanueva, was more seriously injured, reports say. Reports indicate a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued.
