What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 416 in Navarro County, TX on July 24th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:59 p.m. A Ford F-250 operated by 35-year-old Michael Anthony Trudell reportedly was traveling at an unsafe speed when it veered from the road into a ditch. From there, the truck vaulted over a culvert, sending it into a roll. Trudell was ejected from the vehicle and suffered serious injuries. Police say Trudell allegedly admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and that there were alcoholic beverage containers found in and around the crash area.
