Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 163 in Val Verde, TX on June 8th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:44 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by a 32-year-old Michael Anthony Valdez was reportedly traveling at an alleged unsafe speed when it crashed into a guardrail. It then overturned onto a private yard, ejecting Valdez from the vehicle. The crash left Valdez with fatal injuries. Officers allege suspicion that alcohol may have been involved in the crash.
