Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 290 in Blanco County, TX on November 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:33 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 40-year-old Laredo man was headed westbound on US 290 when it veered in a passing lane while attempting to allegedly avoid a deer in the road. As it did so, an approaching Toyota Sequoia operated by 52-year-old Michael Dale Jackson Jr struck the rear of the trailer, causing serious injuries. Four passengers in the Toyota were evaluated for possible injuries while the Laredo man was not injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
