What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at FM 2854 in Montgomery County, TX on August 2nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:22 p.m. A Volkswagen Jetta operated by 18-year-old Michael Duston James Scott was headed westbound before veering right slightly into a shoulder and making a quick left turn into the path of a commercial truck operated by a 38-year-old Spring man. Scott suffered serious injuries when the vehicles collided and it went into a ditch and overturned onto its side. The Spring man was not injured.
