Police are investigating a collision that killed one person involved at Old Granbury Rd in Tarrant County, TX on August 14th, 2024. Officials are saying the incident happened around 12:09 a.m. According to investigators, a Volkswagen Passat headed southbound on Old Grandbury Rd is allied to have crossed a double yellow line for unclear reasons, entering into a northbound lane. The vehicle is said to have collided with a pair of motorcycles, ejecting one of the cyclists from the vehicle. That cyclist, identified as 57-year-old Michael Hoenig, was fatally injured. There were no other reported injuries and authorities did not have any additional information available.
