Police are saying it occurred around 5:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord operated by 21-year-old Michael Isaiah Taylor was traveling northbound on FM 476 as it approached a bend in the road. The vehicle is said to have veered from its lane across opposite direction traffic and through a fence before ultimately crashing into a tree. Responding officers allege that Taylor, who was seriously injured, smelled of alcohol at the scene. They also allege alcoholic beverages were located inside the vehicle during a search.
