What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 90 in Dayton, TX on June 4th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:06 p.m. A Ford F-650 operated by an unidentified 53-year-old male reportedly field to yield during a left turn and proceeded into the path of a Dodge Charger operated by 19-year-old Mirka Ibarra. The vehicles collided, causing Ibarra minor injuries. The other driver was not injured and cited for Failure to Yield. Ibarra was also issued a citation for No Driver's License.
