State Authorities have information on a two vehicle crash that left at least two people seriously injured at State Hwy 240 in Burkburnett, TX on January 16th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:08 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Caravan operated by 56-year-old David Winney headed northbound. Headed southbound was a Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by 23-year-old Victor Oseguera was headed southbound. Officers believe the Dodge traveled into the southbound lane before colliding with the Jeep. A passenger in the Jeep, identified as 30-year-old Monica Wiliams, suffered serious injuries, as did Winney. Oseguera stuffed possible injuries and was evaluated. Officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge against Winney.
