What Happened

Lumberton Police are investigating a crash that injured a mother and child at Crazy Joe's in Lumberton, TX on August 18th, 2022. Police say it happened around 8 p.m. as the pair were patrons of the restaurant located on Main Street. Investigators say a tandem tire became detached from semi-truck and tire crashed through the window of the restaurant. It was not stated if the two were struck by the tire, debris or injured while attempting to take evasive action. However, police say the two were treated for minor injuries.
