Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at Southwell Rd and Harry Hines Blvd in Dallas, TX on July 19th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:45 p.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle headed northbound on Harry Hines Blvd was involved in a collision with a truck turning left from southbound Harry Hines Blvd. Police say the vehicles collided at Southwell Rd, the impact leaving a passenger on the motorcycle fatally injured. The driver of the motorcycle was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Reports say a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued against the operator.
