Fort Worth Police are gathering information on a hotel explosion that injured multiple people at Houston and West in Fort Worth, TX on January 8th, 2024. Police are saying it involved na explosion that occurred at the Sandman Hotel under unclear circumstances. Reports say at least one person suffered life-threatening injuries while four others were seriously injured. As many as 21 people were injured, reports say, most suffering non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities expressed suspicion regarding whether the explosion occurred in a restaurant in the building under construction but were not able to confirm any additional cause-related information.
