What Happened

Area authorities have details on a crash that led to the death of a driver at Hwy 6 in Harris County, TX on October 24th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:47 p.m. A Toyota Sienna  operated by Nam Xuan Tran was headed southbound when it veered into northbound lanes and struck the side of a Ford F-150 operated by William Perkins. This caused the Ford to lost control and veer into southbound lanes where a southbound Chevrolet Colorado lost control and veered into northbound lanes, colliding with the Sienna. Tran died in the collision while Perkins, Brandon Escobar Arevalo and passenger, Ashley Ortiz, were hospitalized with minor injuries. Tran's child was a passenger in the Sienna and was hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
