What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured two people at  FM 812 in Travis County, TX on September 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 6:33 a.m. A Kenworth construction truck operated by 52-year-old Jose Vargas is accused of failing to yield and pulling out in front of a Nissan Altima operated by 31-year-old Nekoday Ray. The Altima reportedly attempted to swerve to avoid the collision but was not able to and the vehicles collided. Both drivers suffered minor injuries in the collision.
