Orange Police haver information on a crash that killed a pedestrian at Martín Luther King Jr Dr in Orange, TX on March 30th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:39 a.m. According to investigators, 52-year-old Nikki Danene Smith was found unresponsive at the scene. Police believe Smith was struck by multiple vehicles while on-foot. How Smith came to be struck was not immediately known. Officials say those involved were questioned and evaluated at the scene. Smith was taken to an area hospital with injuries she later died from. Additional information was not available.
