What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured three people at Jefferson St in Houston, TX on June 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:49 a.m. According to investigators, a BMW 5 Series operated by 22-year-old Ricky Gonzales Jr was headed eastbound on Jefferson St when it allegedly ran a red light before colliding with a Toyota Corolla operated by 26-year-old Odell McKnight III. McKnight and his two passengers all suffered serious injuries. Gonzales was reportedly uninjured and reports show a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued.
