Montgomery County Police are investigating a crash at State Hwy 242 at Northcrest Trail in Montgomery County, TX on January 4th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:45 p.m. A Ford Focus was reportedly headed eastbound on TX 242 before a westbound box truck reportedly failed to yield right of way and turned into the path of the Ford. The two vehicles collided head-on and the driver of the Ford was extricated from the vehicle and hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
