Houston Police are investigating a collision that killed one person at Ley Rd and Roundhouse Lane in Houston, TX on April 13th, 2025. Officials say it happened just before 1 a.m. According to reports, a motorcycle crashed while attempting to avoid colliding with an SUV. The SUV was allegedly stopped in a middle lane of travel, its operator allegedly asleep at the wheel. A passenger on the motorcycle, 52-year-old Pamela Sylvester was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. The driver was also ejected and hospitalized with serious injuries. Neither was publicly identified. Officials say one or both drivers allegedly displayed signs of intoxication. Authorities did not have additional information available.
