Authorities are investigating a collision that killed a person at Loop 410 and Medina Base Rd in San Antonio, TX on July 12th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Corolla headed southbound is said to have left the roadway for unclear reasons, traveling into a median and steel cables between the northbound lanes. The vehicle is said to have entered into the northbound lanes, colliding with a semi-truck and splitting in half. Reports say the Toyota caught fire in the collision and its 35-year-old operator was pronounced dead at the scene. Additional information was not available.
