What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US 59 in San Jacinto County, TX on November 8th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:56 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Frontier operated by 35-year-old Onecimo Carbajal Valparaiso was northbound before leaving the roadway for unclear reasons into a ditch. The vehicle is said to have over corrected before over turning, ejecting Valparaiso from the vehicle. The crash left Valparaiso with fatal injuries.
