Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 624 in Corpus Christi, TX on September 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:18 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Civic was westbound before colliding with the rear of a westbound motorcycle ahead. The collision is said to have pushed the motorcycle forward into a shoulder, ejecting the driver from the vehicle. Reports indicate the driver, 50-year-old Oscar Ortiz, became tapped under the Honda before it came to a stop at the entrance of a driveway. Ortiz suffered fatal injuries in the incident.
