Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-69E in Harlingen, TX on July 28th, 2022. Police are saying the incident happened around 4:47 a.m. According to authorities, a Nissan Altima operated by 19-year-old Paprika Sauceda was headed northwest on the US 77 frontage road at an alleged high rate of speed prior to colliding with a Ford E Series operated by a 35-year-old Brownsville man. The impact caused the rear tires of the Ford to detach, causing it to overturn. That driver was evaluated for possible injuries while Sauceda suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
