Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 27 in Kerrville, TX on August 24th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:45 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Avalanche headed eastbound is alleged to have run a red light before colliding with a northbound Dodge Ram. Reports say the driver of the Dodge, identified as 87-year-old Preston Weatherred III, was seriously injured. The other driver was not publicly identified and allegedly suffered minor injuries.
