Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured both drivers at County Rd 73 in Corpus Christi, TX on July 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:07 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Pilot operated by a 26-year-old driver who was not publicly identified is alleged to have run a red light at the intersection with Northwest Blvd. Officials say the vehicle collided with a BMW X3 in the process of making a turn on a green light. The crash left the driver of the BMW, identified as 74-year-old Rebecca Stevens, with suspected serious injuries. The Honda operator had less serious injuries, according to police. A Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
