Ellis County Police have information a collision involving a pair of tractor-trailers that led to a fatality at I-45 in Ellis County, TX on May 17th, 2023. Officials say it happened around 10:39 a.m. According to investigators, a northbound tractor-trailer operated by 56-year-old Reginald Fairley allegedly lost control while performing a lane change. The truck collided with a second tractor-trailer, operated by 51-year-old Andsel Searight. Fairley suffered fatal injuries in the collision while Searight had undisclosed injuries.
