What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Sawdust Rd in Montgomery County, TX on July 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:55 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Cruze headed eastbound on Sawdust Rd made contact with a dip in the roadway that caused the vehicle to lose control. Reports say the vehicle lost control at a curve and left the roadway, striking a guardrail adobe road sign. From there, reports say the vehicle entered into a business parking lot, striking a concrete pole and curb. The driver, identified as 29-year-old Reginald House, was fatally injured. Two child passengers in the vehicle had suspected minor injuries, police say. Additional information was not available.
