What Happened

Katy Police identified the person killed in a collision on Franz Rd and Westgreen Blvd in Katy, TX on February 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when  a vehicle operated by llianna Zepeda allegedly ran a red light and collided with a vehicle occupied by 24-year-old Renzo Olano-Flores at an intersection. The impact caused Olano-Flores's vehicle to overturn and he was transported to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Zepeda was reportedly able to walk away from the crash and later returned, allegedly displaying signs of intoxication. Police say Zepeda faces charged that include Failure to Stop and Render Aid and Intoxication Manslaughter.
