What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at  Wellington Ln in Wichita County, TX on December 28th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:24 p.m. A Ford F-350 operated by 80-year-old Larry Dwayne Chandler was headed southbound on Wellington Ln while a Chevrolet Traverse operated by 57-year-old Rhonda Fay Inglish was headed northbound on the same road. Investigators say the trailer attached to the Ford, which was hauling a farm tractor, began to fishtail before detaching from the truck. Both vehicles entered into the path of the Traverse and collided before both vehicles veered from the road. Inglish was reportedly seriously injured while Chandler is said to have suffered minor injuries.
