What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-20 in Dallas, TX on June 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:07 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 50-year-old St. Augustine man was westbound on I-20, as was a Chevrolet Tahoe and Chevrolet Avalanche. Police say there were conflicting reports regarding how the vehicles came to collide but say that the vehicles did collide. The driver of the Avalanche, identified as 51-year-old Ricardo Martinez Flores, suffered minor injuries. The truck driver was also injured. Reports indicate a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued against the St Augustine man.
