What Happened

Police are investigating a crash that injured several people at State Hwy 119 in Dewitt County, TX on August 25th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:47 p.m. According to investigators, a Buick Verano was eastbound on 1st St before allegedly vailing to yield before proceeding into the intersection with State Hwy 119. Police say there, the vehicle collided with a a Ford F-150, the compact causing the vehicles to leave the roadway. Police say all four occupants of the Ford were seriously injured. They include 67-year-old driver, Richard Plucker, 61-year-old Anna Nicastro, 43-year-old Taylor Fugate and 34-year-old Sarah Webb. The driver of the Buick was not publicly identified and was allegedly seriously injured. Additional information was not available.
