According to investigators, an Acura MDX, traveling west at an unsafe speed and operated by a 46-year-old man allegedly under the influence of alcohol, collided with a Ford F-150 traveling south. The Ford operator, identified as 60-year-old Richard Shields, sustained fatal injuries.
