According to investigators, a transit bus was traveling east when a Yamaha YZFR6 motorcycle, traveling north at an unsafe speed, attempted an evasive maneuver and collided with the bus. A second motorcycle, a Suzuki GSX-R750, also traveling north, was involved in a separate minor collision. The crash resulted in suspected serious injuries to the 24-year-old driver of the Yamaha.
