What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a collision that killed a driver at I-35 in Bell County, TX on August 25th, 2021. Police say it happened around 4:11 p.m. A Ford F-150 operated by 44-year-old Robert Daniel Taylor was headed south in a right lane on I-35 when, possibly due to driver fatigue, the truck began to veer from the road. It veered into a right shoulder and collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer parked there. Taylor suffered fatal injuries in the collision. No other injuries were reported.
