Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at US 290 in Manor, TX on March 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:56 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-350 operated by a Dale, TX man was headed westbound when the vehicle reportedly came to a stop. The driver allegedly stated the engine died and the driver was attempted to fix the vehicle before it was struck in the rear by a Ford Edge operated by 62-year-old Robert Mitchell. Mitchell suffered serious injuries while the Dale man was not injured. Records indicate the Dale man was issued a Driving While Intoxicated charge.
