Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-35 in San Marcos, TX on February 10th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:53 p.m. Authorities are saying a Dodge Charger allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on I-35 prior to coming to a stop in a moving lane of travel. Reports indicate the abrupt stop created a chain reaction crash involving two other vehicles as they attempted to brake to avoid a collision. The driver of one of those vehicles, identified as 22-year-old Robert Valentine IV, was seriously injured, reports say. The others involved were allegedly uninjured.
