What Happened

OSHA reps are investigating an incident that killed a man at I-35 in Corinth, TX on October 17th, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. as 51-year-old Roberto Perez was working. It has been alleged that Perez was clearing excess asphalt from a dump truck when a highway paver struck the truck. Perez was pinned between the tail gate of the truck and the bed of the dump truck, causing fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information has not been made available.
